Riiiver is an IoT platform designed to connect various products and services, enhancing their functionality and delivering a unique user experience. Please note that access is limited to Riiiver-compatible products and services.

The Riiiver App allows users to create custom functions called "iiideas" within the Riiiver ecosystem. If you have ever thought about new functionalities that could enhance your daily life, Riiiver provides a user-friendly interface to turn those concepts into reality.

Creating new functions with Riiiver is straightforward, requiring no programming expertise. Users can seamlessly assemble various functional modules known as Pieces within the application. For those with programming skills, there is also the option to develop custom Pieces. Detailed information regarding Piece development is available on the Riiiver Developers website (https://developer.riiiver.com).

In Riiiver, the term iiidea refers to the custom functions created by users, which are constructed from three categories of Pieces: T, S, and A.

For instance, consider an iiidea designed to send notifications to family members:

• T: A trigger Piece that initiates an action.
  • Example: An area-based trigger that activates when you are within 100 meters of a designated location.
• S: A service Piece that delivers information or functionality.
  • Example: An email sender that transmits a predefined message to specified contacts.
• A: An output Piece that presents the results of the service.
  • Example: A notification displayed on your smartphone based on the service outcome.

A variety of combinations and applications for Pieces exist beyond the examples provided. Here are additional instances:

• T-Piece examples:
  • Button press — triggers upon pressing a specific button on a compatible watch.
  • Calories burned — activates when a designated number of calories are expended.
• S-Piece examples:
  • Current location — provides real-time information on your geographical position.
  • Arrival time — estimates the time required to reach your destination from your current location.
• A-Piece examples:
  • Time Display — shows the time from the preceding Piece on a compatible watch.
  • Smart home device — utilizes a communication device to audibly relay a pre-set message at home.
